We have installed DOORS 9.6.1.6 Help.exe is invoked from >Help>Contents and Index The help application says Unavailable sites:- http://www.ibm.com:80/support/knowledgecenter/SSYQBZ/index.jsp When this URL is pasted into a browser the help comes up OK. So the machine can see the help website but the help.exe utility seems to be unable to see it. Is there any special security settings that need to be relaxed so that help.exe can see the IBM help website?

Re: DOORS help.exe cannot access the internet Hi, Have you tried the test connection? The cause might be the proxy setting. Could you check Preference > Help > Network Connection to see whether correct proxy setting is set? |
Re: DOORS help.exe cannot access the internet I ran into similar problems and in working with the folks who manager our proxy servers, we determine that the IBM help files also actually go out to some 3rd party websites for metrics collection and those also cannot be blocked. |
